HOW TO APPLY
The coach is required to create a profile using the "REGISTER" button in the upper right-hand corner.
Once the profile is created, the coach will need to log in and complete the application and attach the required forms signed by the parent/guardian.
If the coach already has a profile, please use the "APPLY" button above to complete the application.
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
- Registration fee for each team is $50.
- Grades 4-8 can join a team.
- Recruit girls from school, your community, or your neighborhood.
- Adult coach is mandatory (i.e., teacher, parent, mentor).
- Team size is 2-5 girls.
- Three virtual quests will need to be completed between Feb 15 and April 19. Teams will have approximately two weeks to complete each quest and the completed deliverable must be completed and submitted by the respective due dates.
- Quest information will be sent on the release date. Quests will not be sent out in advance of the release date even if a previous quest has been completed. If you do not complete and submit quests by their respective due dates, you can not compete in the FINAL ROUND.
- The Final Round runs April 28th through May 17th.
- First, second, and third place winners notified June 7th and will receive an invitation to an Awards Ceremony (this element TBD).
SOLVE THE QUESTS
Work together in small teams to complete the educational & virtual Quests using the BirdBrain Technologies Finch 2.0 robot. During the course of the competition, students will learn to code the Finch 2.0 robot by having their robot complete a series of pre-defined activities. Each team will receive its own robot.

PRIZES
Teams that complete all three quests, by each due date, qualify to move to the FINAL ROUND.
Winning Team of the FINAL ROUND will receive a $1000 prize.
At the FINAL ROUND, the second-place winning team will receive $600 and the third-place team will receive $400.
